Live with The Gardening Mind

A recording from the live video

For anyone who missed it, here are some clips from this morning’s Substack Live:

This week’s garden to-do list includes sowing some ‘ardy hannuals’ and some salad leaves, and I’m going to pick most of the dahlias now as they’re just going to get mullered by the rain. We take a look at an excellent garden tool bag (thanks for the recommendation

)

As ever, there are a few rabbit holes we go down: surprise spiders, Arachne and her similarities to Grayson Perry (I probably need to fact-check that story), blackberries and why you shouldn’t eat them after Michaelmas, dive-bombing wood pigeons and Deely Boppers - remember those?

I’m still testing out the Lives here on Substack- the video does go a bit blurry when I move, so I stopped moving around the garden, but bear with me - the video will get better! Also, I really should know by now that woolly jumpers are always going to make my nose itch.

The consensus is that we should have some more of these Lives - what do you reckon?
