So so pretty. Today I am repotting the thriving succulents that the previous owner left here for my front window boxes. Now to tackle the back terrace for winter!

We have similar in the old part of town where people plant roses close to the walls of their house. Then we have an excellent duo, two ladies, one I know, that plan all pots etc that the city have. They make a huge difference too! Lots of lovely displays all year round.

there are a few back alleys in Newcastle where residents have done similar things with pots and little bits of trellis on garage walls. It makes such a difference and as soon as the whole neighbourhood is on board, it is very special space as you know the pride that is taken in their environment.

It would be so simple wouldn’t it? There are places like Bonnington Square in London where the residents have created a green jewel - I’d love to see this taken up elsewhere
